The final plat of Eastfield Estates, Phase 1, was presented to.the Council. A motion <br />was made by Councilman Williams and seconded by Councilman Mcivlone .approving the final <br />plat subject to the requirements of the Director of Public Works.* The motion carried: <br />7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Manager Sweatt advised that the agenda had included an item calling for possible <br />revisions to the sub - division regulations and Plumbing Code,at:the.request of some of <br />the Councilmen. Mayor Brunette referred the matter to the Planning and Zoning- Commissi <br />for study of sub - divisions regulations and Plumbing Code and requested their.recommenda-- <br />tion be made to the City Council, and appointed a committee composed of Councilman <br />Williams, Councilman Wunsch and Councilman Stone to work with. the Planning `and Zoning <br />Commission and staff for. the recommendations and development. of - information for }presenta- <br />tion to the City Councils A motion was,made by Councilman 1.1illiams and seconded by <br />Councilman Wunsch confirming the appointment of the committee. The motion carried: 7 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br />Final plat of Tanglewood No. 8 Addition was presented. City Manager Sweatt advised the <br />Council of the receipt of a communication from firs. A. P. Hefflefinger, -3151 Clarks- <br />ville Street, stating that the effect of the drainage from -the Tanglewood fro. 8 AAdition <br />as well as other surrounding property would have the effect of greatly damaging the <br />lower 1/3 of the Hefflefinger property and stating "the danger of damage is obvious, but <br />even so, I am writing this letter to be sure you are on notice, as I shall have no al- <br />ternative but to hold you responsible for the damage ray property will sustain." !1ayor <br />Brunette announced that action on the final plat of Tanglewood No. 8 Addition' would be <br />deferred following discussion by the Councilman an executive session later on in this <br />meeting." <br />City Attorney Haynes presented the following petitions for re- zoning: Brenda Draper, <br />Lot 13,.Block A, Porter's 1st Addition, from a Single- Family Dwelling District to <br />Neighborhood Service District; Lots 1 through 17, Block A, Lots 1 through 20, Block B, <br />Lots 1 through 10, Block C, Eastfield Estates - Phase 1, from Commercial District to <br />Single- Family Dwelling District No. 2; Hobbit Corporation - Lot 18, City Block 296, frc <br />SingleFamily Dwelling District "!o. 2 to Office District. — <br />Mayor Brunette referred the petitions to the Planning and Zoning Commission for their <br />study and recommendation and called for a public hearing at the next regular Council <br />meeting. <br />Mayor Brunette announced that the next order of business would be consideration of re- <br />commendations made by the Traffic Commission at its meeting on September f, 1977. <br />City Manager Sweatt advised that the Traffic Commission had recommended the establish- <br />ment of a Loading Zone near 124 South Main Street for an existing business use, <br />.Ordinance No. 2350! <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXA$, PROVIDING THAT <br />THE CODE OF ORDIN-AMCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVIS.UmG <br />THE TRAFFIC PARKING MAP ADOPTED IM PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29_ -112 <br />OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.01; <br />REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES If!
