RESOLUTION NO. 1787 <br />WHEREAS, the terms of office of Homer Thornton and <br />Victorene Young, as members of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, have expired, <br />and it is necessary to appoint their successors, and the Mayor <br />of the City of Paris, James M. Brunette, having re- appointed <br />Homer Thornton and Victorene Young, to serve on the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris, for three (3) years, <br />beginning January 1, 1977 and ending December 31, 1979, and <br />has submitted the names of such persons to the City Council of <br />the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, That the re- appointment of Homer Thornton and <br />Victorene Young, to serve as members of the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission of the City of Paris, for a period of three <br />(3) years, beginning January 1, 1977 and ending December 31, <br />1979, is by. the City Council of the City of Paris hereby approved <br />and confirmed. , <br />Passed and adopted this 14th day of February, 1977. <br />All <br />a es M. : unet , Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />C. The motion car- <br />ried: 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 1788, re- appointing Dick Wright, Connie Justice, Marcus Roden and <br />Mrs: Hoyle Barr as members of the Tree Preservation Committee for a term of two <br />years beginning January 1, 1977, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman <br />Swaim and seconded by Councilman Fisher for the adoption of the resolution. The <br />motion carried: 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
