423 <br />d. Radiological Protection. Paris Fire Department <br />1) Primary responsibility for this function is assigned to the Paris Fire <br />Department (Radiological Protection) to this plan and supporting SOP'S. <br />2) Emergency tasks to be performed include: <br />a) Maintain inventory of radiological equipment. <br />b) Ensure response forces include personnel with current training in <br />radiological monitoring and decontamination. <br />c) Respond to radiological incidents and terrorist incidents involving - <br />radiological materials. <br />d) Make notification concerning -radiological incidents to state and federal <br />authorities. <br />e. Evacuation. <br />Paris Police Department <br />1) Primary responsibility for this function is assigned to the Paris Police <br />Department, who will prepare and maintain Annex E (Evacuation) to this <br />plan and supporting SOP'S. <br />2) Emergency tasks to be performed include: <br />a) Identify areas where evacuation has been or may in the future and <br />determine of population at risk. <br />b) Perform evacuation planning for known risk areas to include route <br />selection and determination of traffic control requirements. <br />c) Develop simplified planning procedures for ad hoc evacuations. <br />d) Determine emergency public information requirements. <br />e) Perform evacuation planning for special needs facilities (schools, <br />hospitals, nursing homes, and other institutions. <br />f. Firefighting. <br />Paris Fire Department <br />1) Primary responsibility for this function is assigned to the Paris Fire <br />Department, who will prepare and maintain Annex F (Firefighting) to this <br />plan and supporting SOP'S. <br />2) Emergency tasks to be performed include: <br />a) Fire prevention activities. <br />b) Fire detection and control. <br />c) Hazardous material and oil spill response. <br />d) Terrorist incident response. <br />26 <br />Ver 1.10 <br />08/03 <br />
