Paris Police Department <br />1) Primary responsibility for this function is assigned to the Paris Police <br />Department, who will prepare and maintain Annex G (Law Enforcement) <br />to this plan and supporting SOP'S. <br />2) Emergency tasks to be performed include: <br />a) Maintenance of law and order. - <br />b) Traffic control. <br />c) Terrorist incident response. <br />d) Provision of security for vital facilities, evacuated areas, and shelters. <br />e) Access control for damaged or contaminated areas. <br />f) Warning support. , <br />g) Post - incident reconnaissance and damage assessment. <br />h) Prepare and maintain law enforcement resource inventory. <br />h.. Health and Medical Services. Paris — Lamar County Health Department <br />1) Primary responsibility for this function is assigned to the Medical director <br />of the Paris - Lamar county health department, who will prepare and <br />maintain Annex H (Health & Medical Services) to this plan and supporting <br />SOP'S. <br />2) Emergency tasks to be performed include: <br />a) Coordinate health and medical care and EMS support during <br />emergency situations. <br />b) Public health information and education. <br />c) Inspection of food and water supplies. <br />d) Develop emergency public health regulations and orders. <br />e) Coordinate collection, identification, and interment of deceased victims. <br />f) Coordinate the provision of disaster mental - health services to disaster <br />victims, emergency workers, and /or others suffering trauma due to the <br />emergency incident/disaster. <br />27 <br />Ver 1.10 <br />08/03 <br />
