C3 <br />h <br />Ver 1.10 <br />08/03 <br />Hazard Mitigation. <br />Engineering <br />1) The primary responsibility for this function is assigned to the City <br />Engineer, who will prepare and maintain Annex P (Hazard Mitigation) to <br />this plan and supporting SOP'S. <br />2) Emergency tasks to be performed include: <br />a) Maintain the local Hazard Analysis. <br />b) Identify beneficial pre- disaster hazard mitigation projects and seek <br />approval from local officials to implement such projects. <br />c) In the aftermath of an emergency, determine appropriate actions to <br />mitigate the situation and coordinate implementation of those actions. - <br />d) Coordinate and carry out post- disaster hazard mitigation program. <br />Transportation. Public Works Director <br />1) The primary responsibility for this function is assigned to the Public Works <br />Director in coordination with school superintendents in the city. The public <br />works director will prepare and maintain Annex S (Transportation) to this <br />plan and supporting SOP'S. <br />2) Emergency tasks to be performed include: _ <br />a) Identifies local public and private transportation resources and <br />coordinates their use in emergencies. <br />b) Coordinates deployment of transportation equipment to support <br />emergency operations. <br />c) Establishes and maintains a reserve pool of drivers, maintenance <br />personnel, parts, and tools. <br />d) Maintains records on use of transportation equipment and personnel <br />for purpose of possible reimbursement. <br />Donations Management. City of Paris Finance - Warehouse <br />1) The primary responsibility for this function is assigned to the warehouse <br />supervisor who will prepare and maintain Annex T (Donations <br />Management) to this plan and supporting SOP'S. <br />2) Emergency tasks to be performed include: <br />a) Compile resource requirements identified by the Resource <br />Management staff. <br />b) Solicit donations to meet known needs. <br />33 <br />
