Regular City Council Meeting <br />July 14, 2008 <br />Page 6 <br />After discussion of appointments to the various boards, commissions, and committees, City <br />Council made the following appointments: <br />Airport Advisory Board <br />one year tern - Andrew F. Fasken and Vic Ressler <br />two year term - Bill Booth and Glen Chapman <br />three year term - Captain Jack Ashmore, Billy Copeland and Pete Kampfer <br />A Motion to approve this item was made by Council Member Kear and seconded by Council <br />Member Brown. Motion carried, 6 ayes - 0 nays, with Council Member Strathern abstained from <br />voting. <br />Band Commission <br />two year term - Patsy Daniels and Stephen L. Gerrald <br />three year term - T.R. "Randy" Bunch, Ray Karrer, and Thomas N. Neugent <br />VC &C representative - Becky Semple <br />A Motion to approve this item was made by Council Member McCarthy and seconded by <br />Council Member Pickle. Motion carried, 7 ayes - 0 nays. <br />Building and Standards Commission <br />one year term - Lucius Joe, Jr. and Harrell Tippitt <br />two year term - Ryan Lassister and Zach Saffl'e <br />three year term - Vicki Ballard, Chris Brown, and Bill Harris <br />A Motion to approve this item was made by Council Member Brown and seconded by Council <br />Member Biard. Motion carried, 6 ayes - 0 nays, with Council Member Strathern abstaining from <br />voting. <br />Historic Preservation Commmission <br />one year term - Brad Archer and Arvin W. Starrett <br />two year term - Matthew Coyle and Paul Denney <br />three year term -Jerry Raper, Susan Scholz, and Ben Vaughn <br />A Motion to approve this item was made by Council Member McCarthy and seconded by <br />Council Member Kear. Motion carried, 6 ayes - 0 nays, with Council Member Strathem abstaining <br />from voting. <br />A Motion to move to item 18, because Oncor representative Stan McKee was in attendance <br />
