Council Member McCarthy inquired if they could go back to item 13. A Motion to reconsider item 13. was made by Council Member Biard and seconded by Council Member Brown. Motion carried, 7 ayes - 0 nays. 13. RESOLUTION NO. 2008-052: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE DEMOLITION AND DISPOSAL OF BUILDINGS 1 -4 AT THE CASA BONITA APARTMENT COMPLEX LOCATED AT 7TH STREET NW AND HENDERSON STREET IN THE CITY OF PARIS TO CHERRY MOVING COMPANY, INC. D /B /A CHERRY DEMOLITION, THE LOWEST RESPONSIBLE BIDDER; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. After a brief discussion, A Motion to award the bid to Chevy Moving Company, Inc. D/B /A Cherry Demolition and to re -open bids for the remainder of the buildings was made by Council Member Brown and seconded by Council Member Strathern. Motion carried, 7 ayes - 0 nays. 19. Convene in Executive Session pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code, Consultation with Attorney, to receive legal advice of legal counsel pursuant to the duty of an attorney to his client under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas, and litigation exception under the Texas Open Meetings Act as follows: a. To receive Attorney advice regarding legal issues related to a contract with Housing Associates, Inc. and Eastgate Subdivision. Mayor Freelen convened Council into Executive Session at 9:59 p.m.
