up still, water damage, mold, elements are getting into the house, holes in the roof <br />on the shed, barn in the back is collapsing, the add on to the house has a tree that <br />has fallen on it, holes in the roof, unsecure and the City has had several <br />complaints on the property. The brother in law lives next door and Robert tried to <br />make contract but he went in the house and there were dogs on the property. If we <br />have the structure demolished the dogs will be removed for safety purposes and <br />then returned. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Sally McEwin, seconded by Chad Lindsey to accept <br />Robert Talley's recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 4 -0 <br />G. 1635 W Walker, Colonial Addition, Block 6, Lot 5 -6 <br />Owner: Janice Marie Neal & Marie Ransom 1635 W Walker St. Paris, TX 75460 <br />Back Taxes Owed: $8014.57 <br />No contact with owner. <br />Robert Talley stated that he has talked to Janice Neal in the past and she asked for <br />an extension and never finished the work or called him. The structure has <br />damaged eaves, power line hanging, missing siding, foundation damage, limbs <br />have fallen on the roof, brush in the yard and deterioration of wood. Johnny <br />Norris asked how we found this structure and Robert Talley stated a neighbor <br />turned it in. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Ben Vaughan, seconded by Sally McEwin to accept <br />Robert Talley's recommendation.
