Motion Carried 4 -0. <br />Approval of [December 2014 and January 20151 fmancials <br />Stephen Grubbs stated that the PEDC's cash flow increased to $1,192,000 from $1,448,000 in <br />November due to the delinquent Sales Tax payment from a local retailer. Don Wilson made a <br />motion to approve the December 2014 financials as submitted; seconded by John Brockman. <br />Motion Carried 4 -0. <br />Interim Executive Director's Report: <br />• Status of the Texas Workforce Commission High Demand Job Training Program through <br />the Workforce Solutions of Northeast Texas grant application. The EDC's (Mt. Pleasant, <br />Sulphur Springs, and Paris) were awarded the matching grant in the amount of $75,000. <br />• Update on Lamar County days in Austin, April 7, 8& 9, 2015. The block rooms, tent, <br />and food vendors have been taken care of. The reception will be April 7, 2015 at 6:30 <br />p.m. Distribution of the 200+ V.I.P Boxes at the Capitol will be April 8, 2015. Stephen <br />Grubbs and Don Wilson will be attending. <br />• Sulphur River Regional Mobility Authority (SuRRMA) annual audit for FY 2013 -2014 is <br />available for review. The PEDC was a part of the Hwy. 19/24 widening project. <br />• Status of 2014 Tax Abatement and Incentive Agreement Compliance. <br />Letters were sent out to the various industries in January and response documents are due <br />February 15, 2015. Some response documents have been submitted for compliance <br />review. Rebecca Clifford told those present that there are still some Tax Abatement <br />letters that need to be sent out. <br />Discuss and possibly take action on a presentation and proposal for redesigning the PEDC <br />website by James Wallace of Jazzy Frog Interactive <br />Presentation by James Wallace, owner, Jazzy Frog Interactive, making various recommendations <br />to revamp the current PEDC website: Make the website user friendly such as change to the <br />layout of the website and change the way the menus are set up. Stephen Grubbs asked if website <br />tracking would be available too? <br />
