Motion was made by Wendell Moore, seconded by Chad Lindsey to accept <br />Robert Talley's recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 4 -0 <br />B. 1167 Grove St, City of Paris, Block 175 -A, Lot 7 <br />Owner: John Robert & Clarice Holt 3150 Dogwood Ln Paris, TX 75460 -6437 <br />Back Taxes Owed: $11,144.88 <br />No contact with owner <br />Robert Talley stated that the structure is boarded up but there is foundation <br />damage and the roof at the rear of the house is slopped and collapsing. The siding <br />is buckling and the underpinning is snapping off. The structure is sinking into the <br />ground. Mr. Talley stated that he has brought other structures that the Holt's <br />have owned before BSC and they have never completed any work. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Mr. Lindsey asked if there had been any contact with the owner and Mr. Talley <br />stated that he has had no contact. Mr. Talley <br />stated the structure is boarded up but it is deteriorated and falling apart. There is <br />deteriorated and missing wood. The roof is covered with debris, is starting to sag <br />and the boards in the roof are starting to break off. The front porch has holes and <br />the foundation is starting to sink. At the back of the house the underpinning is <br />starting to pull off. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Johnny Norris asked if there were any services to the house and Mr. Talley stated <br />that all services have been removed. <br />Motion was made by Wendell Moore, seconded by Ben Vaughan to accept <br />Robert Talley's recommendation.
