think the structure needs a BSC order since the owner of the structure hasn't been <br />properly notified. <br />The item was pulled from the agenda. <br />H. 613 Clement, City of Paris, Block 250, Lot 27 <br />Owner: Brian Littlebear Villa PO Box 838 Paris, TX 75461 <br />No contact with owner. <br />No Back Taxes Owed <br />Robert Talley stated that the roof is swaying and shows signs of deterioration. <br />This structure appears to be a 12x20 storage building of some type. The window <br />is crooked showing that the structure is starting to sink into the ground. There is <br />foundation damage and it is unsecure with a rock holding the door closed. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Wendell Moore, seconded by Chad Lindsey to accept <br />Robert Talley's recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 4 -0 <br />4. Code Enforcement Update <br />Ten properties were brought before the Commission in February 2015. <br />Five structures were demolished in February 2015. <br />Johnny Norris asked the status of the houses that the truck driver owned. Mr. Talley <br />stated that this was Charles Rudd and both of the structures have been demolished. Mrs. <br />Harris stated that Mr. Rudd had appealed the order and an agreement was made that he <br />had 90 days to get the structures up to code. He contacted Mrs. Harris and stated the he <br />wouldn't be able to get the work done and that the structures could be demolished. <br />Johnny Norris asked about the status of the Kammer building down town. Dale Maberry <br />stated that it is going before the City Council to get money for the demolition and we are <br />getting bids from companies to handle the demolition. Mr. Talley stated that they just <br />found out that Mr. Kammer lost his appeal in court. Mr. Talley also stated that he spoke <br />with the City Attorney and that there will be one more inspection before the building is <br />demolished to ensure that no work has been done on the structure. <br />Ben Vaughan asked about the debris pile left on 13th and Mr. Talley stated that it is gone. <br />5. Future agenda items. <br />There is one vacancies left to fill on BSC and there is an application going before the <br />City Council. Once that vacancy is filled a Vice - Chairman will be put into place. <br />
