Citizens' Input <br />(Persons desiring to address the Paris EDC Board must limit their presentation to no more than <br />two minutes. Unless an item is posted on the Agenda, the Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits the <br />Board from responding to any comments other than to refer the matter to a future agenda, to an <br />existing policy, or to a staff person with specific factual information. Claims against the Paris <br />EDC, Board Members or employees are not appropriate for citizens' input.) <br />3. Discuss and possibly take action on Citizens' Input item(s), above, for future <br />meeting Agenda. <br />4. Approval of minutes from the April 21, 2015 re- scheduled monthly meeting <br />5. Approval of [March 2015 and April 2015] financials <br />6. Interim Executive Director's Report: <br />• Status of the Texas Workforce Commission High Demand Job Training <br />Program through Workforce Solutions of Northeast Texas grant application. <br />• Status of WorkKeys0 assessment for Certified Work Ready Communities <br />Initiative. <br />• Status of 2014 Tax Abatement and Incentive Agreement Compliance. <br />7. Discuss and possibly take action on options to either build or buy a spec building <br />site. <br />8. Discuss and possibly take action on methodology confirming number of jobs <br />created and /or retained for current and future incentive agreements. <br />9. Discuss and possibly take action on proposed amendment(s) to the Paris EDC <br />Bylaws pertaining to authorization process of entering into a contract agreement. <br />10. Discuss and possibly take action on invoice(s) for legal services from Jeff Moore, <br />Attorney, Brown & Hofineister, LLP and /or A.W. Clem, Legal Counsel, The Moore <br />Law Firm. <br />
