answered no. Motion was made by Commissioner Holbert and seconded by <br />Commissioner Alsobrook to approve the item as submitted. The motion carried 4 -0. <br />B. Fayade Renovation, 123 Clarksville St, Richard Hunt <br />Commissioner Allcorn introduced the item and called the applicant, Ricard Hunt. Mr. <br />Hunt explained that the commission had previously approved the renovation of the <br />windows above the existing canopy, and now he was seeking approval to renovate the <br />storefront below the canopy. He further explained that the proposal included removing <br />the existing storefront and constructing a new storefront which will be set back about 4 <br />feet. Mr. Hunt stated that even though historic photos were not available, the existing <br />construction indicated that the storefront was originally inset approximately 4 feet. <br />Commissioner Allcorn asked about the materials along the sides which were identified <br />as "Nardi or plaster look ". Mr. Hunt explained that plywood currently covered both <br />sides but that he believed there was plaster behind it, similar to the plaster at the <br />second floor. Commissioner Ardila asked what materials were proposed along the <br />bottom of the store front. Mr. Hunt answered the proposed storefront would be five <br />wood framed glass doors with wood kicker panels at the bottom. Motion was made by <br />Commissioner Holbert and seconded by Commissioner Ardila to approve the item as <br />submitted. The motion carried 4 -0. <br />4. Adjournment <br />With no other matters to discuss, a motion to adjourn was made by Commissioner <br />Alsobrook and seconded by Commissioner Holbert.
