Michael Glatfelter addressed the Board asking for closure of the PEDC. He stated that the <br />PEDC is not trusted by the members of the community. Mr. Glatfelter made various accusations <br />against the Board then deteriorated into profanities. Mr. Glatfelter was asked to leave by <br />Chairman Grubbs and several people in attendance. Paris Police Department was notified of the <br />disruption as Mr. Glatfelter left. <br />Carol Hufnagel addressed the Board welcoming Angie Corbell to the PEDC. <br />Matthew Abalon addressed the Board. He apologized for a misprint by eParis Extra. <br />An audience member was asking for the door to be locked after the incident with Mr. <br />Glatfelter. <br />Chairman Grubbs addressed everyone at the meeting and thanked several members of the <br />community. Chairman Grubbs welcomed the newest Board Members and offered <br />encouragement. He also expressed appreciation for Vice Chair John Brockman, Edwin Pickle of <br />the City Council, Former Mayor Matt Frierson, Shannon Barrentine, Attorney Jeff Moore, <br />Chamber President Steve Keywood, and Dr. Pam Anglin. <br />Vice Chair John Brockman welcomed the newest Board Members, Richard Manning and <br />Ray Banks. Also, he welcomed Sue Lancaster as the City Council Liaison for PEDC. <br />Election of Officers: <br />John Brockman opened the floor to nominations for Chairman. Mr. Turner made motion <br />for Mr. Manning to be Chairman. This was seconded by Mr. Banks. All were in favor of Richard <br />Manning for Chairman. <br />Mr. Manning thanked the Board and Mr. Brockman turned the floor to Chairman <br />Manning. Mr. Manning asked for nominations for Vice Chairman. Mr. Wilson nominated Mr. <br />Brockman. It was seconded by Mr. Turner. The "Aye" motion was carried and Mr. Brockman <br />was elected Vice Chairman. <br />Mr. Manning asked for the nominations for Secretary Treasurer. Mr. Brockman <br />nominated Mr. Wilson. The "Ayes" were unanimous. Mr. Wilson was elected Secretary <br />Treasurer. <br />Discussion of and possible action on professional services agreement between Brown & <br />Hofineister, L.L.P. and Paris Economic Development Corporation <br />
