This was a citizen's complaint. <br />The structure is unsecure, has missing and deteriorated wood all the way around, <br />and holes in the side. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made and seconded to accept Robert Talley's recommendation. <br />Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 <br />E. 546 E Hearon, City of Paris, Block 145, Lot 16 & W 20' of 1 <br />Owner: EL Concept LLC 25 Braintree Hill Ste 401 Braintree, MA 02184 <br />Back Taxes Owed: $4062.39 <br />Robert Talley stated that he has had no contact with the owner. The front <br />windows are broken; the structure is starting to sink. There is deteriorated and <br />rotten wood. The side door is kicked in but will not open all of the way due to the <br />foundation shifting. Structure is unsecure, the roof leaks and there is mold inside. <br />The floor is missing in parts of the house and there is water damage throughout. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />There was a discussion on securing the structure and the demolition process. <br />Motion was made and seconded to accept Robert Talley's recommendation. <br />Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 <br />G. 6th SE & Jackson, City of Paris, Block 188, Lot 1 & 2 <br />Owner: American Plant Food Corp PO Box 584 Galena Pk, TX 77547 <br />Back Taxes Owed: $0 <br />Robert Talley stated that he had spoken to the plant manager and they just <br />received wood from their corporate office that they will be repairing some <br />structures and building new ones. They plan on demolishing this structure but <br />would like 90 days to do so. A car ran into the structure, and there are places <br />where the tin has pulled loose and is leaking. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 90 days to repair and if not the structure <br />will come back to the Commission. <br />It was suggested by Ken Kohls to table this item until the September meeting <br />since this business is investing more money into the local economy and has <br />agreed to take care of the matter. <br />Motion was made and seconded to table this item until the September <br />
