Motion carried, 7 ayes - 0 nays. <br />22. Deliberate on Chief Building Official and Electrical Inspector positions and funding. <br />Mayor Freelen stated that Bureau Veritas would be taking care of the inspections, so the <br />electrical inspector position did not need to be posted. Mr. Carruth inquired about leaving the <br />position open until the trial period with Bureau Veritas was completed. Mayor Freelen said he <br />wanted the work load tracked and reviewed. Council Member Brown emphasized that he wanted <br />both positions held. Mr. Carruth reminded City Council that the chief building inspector had some <br />code enforcement duties. <br />23. Consider and approve future events for City Council and/or City Staifpursuant to Resolution <br />No. 2004 -081. <br />None were referenced. <br />24. Adjournment. <br />Prior to adjourning, Kevin Carruth reminded City Council that beginning with the first <br />meeting in March they would start meetings at 5:30 p.m. <br />There being no further business, a Motion to adjourn was made by Council Member McCarthy <br />and seconded by Council Member Brown.
