Deliberate and act on the Preliminary Plat of Lot 16, Stone Ridge Phase 5 Addition, being <br />located in the 3900 block of 480' Street N.E. <br />A Motion to approve this item was made by Council Member Biard and seconded by Council <br />Member Rogers. Motion carried, 6 ayes - 0 nays. <br />16. Deliberate and act on the Master Plat and Preliminary Plat of Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, <br />Block A, Pecan Place Addition, being located in the 4000 block of Pine Mill Road. <br />A Motion to approve this item was made by Council Member Biard and seconded by Council <br />Member Rogers. Motion carried, 6 ayes - 0 nays. <br />17. Public hearing, first reading, deliberate and possibly act on an ordinance approving and <br />adopting revisions to the Future Land Use Plan Map for the City of Paris, for the future land <br />use recommmended for the property located on Lot 11, City Block 35, being number 221 8' <br />N.E., be changed from Low Density Residential to Commercial. <br />Council Member Kear suggested that Council combine items 17 and 18 for discussion <br />purposes. A Motion to combine items 17 and 18 was made by Council Member McCarthy and <br />seconded by Council Member Rogers. Motion carried, 6 ayes - 0 nays. <br />18. Public hearing, first reading, deliberate and possibly act on an ordinance approving the <br />petition from a Multiple - Family Dwelling District No. (MF -1) to a Commercial District (C) <br />on Lot 11, City Block 35, being number 221 8b Street N.E. <br />Lisa Wright told City Council that the Future Land Use Plan Map recommended that this area <br />be zoned for Low Density Residential use. She said Xuan Thu Thi Phan requested a zoning change <br />that would require a revision of the map to allow for commercial use. Ms. Wright also said that <br />Planning and Zoning recommended the more restrictive Neighborhood Service zoning instead of <br />Commercial zoning. She said if Council followed the recommendation of Planning and Zoning, that <br />the map would need to be revised to allow for Retail use. <br />Mayor Freelen opened the public hearing and asked for anyone wishing to speak in support <br />of this item, to please come forward. Mr. Phan spoke in support of this item. Mayor Freelen asked <br />for anyone wishing to speak in opposition of this item, to please come forward. With no one else <br />speaking, Mayor Freelen closed the public hearing. <br />
