Tuesday, July 10, <br />2007, at the City Council Chamber, 107 E. Kaufman, Paris, Texas. <br />1 <br />2 <br />Present:- Mayor: <br />Council Members: <br />City Staff- <br />Mayor Freelen called the meeting to order. <br />Jesse James Freelen <br />Will Biard; Mary Ann Fisher; Kevin Gray; <br />Stephen Brown; Don Wilson; and Bill Strathern, <br />Mayor Pro Tem <br />Ernie Clark, Interim City Manager; Kent <br />McIlyar, City Attorney; and Janice Ellis, City <br />Clerk <br />Convene in Executive Session pursuant to Sections 551.074 and 551.071 ofthe Texas Government <br />Code to: <br />A. Interview candidates for the position of City Manager and continue discussion potential <br />City Manager candidates. <br />B. .Receive legal advice pertaining to the City Manager Search and Executive Search <br />Agreement with PACE. <br />Mayor Freelen convened Council into Executive Session at 3:35 p.m. <br />3. Reconvene in Open Session to take possible action regarding those matters discussed in the <br />Executive Session. <br />Mayor Freelen reconvened Council into open session at 6:57 p.m. <br />4. Adjournment. <br />There being no fiirther business, Council Member Biard made a Motion to adjourn and Council <br />Member Wilson seconded the Motion. Motion carried, 7 ayes - 0 nays.
