m PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING FEBRUARY 5, 2001 The Planning and Zoning Commission met Monday, February 5, 2001 at 5:30 at Paris Junior College, Applied Technology Building, Rm. 1016, 2400 Clarksville Street, Paris, Texas with the following members present: 1. Reeves Hayter 2. Vincent Battles 3. Barbara Forrest 4. Eddie Vincent 5. Marshall Kent 6. Bobby L. Myers 7. Bill Coleman Steve Methven, the building official was also present. The meeting was called to order by Reeves Hayter. 1. The minutes from the December 4, 2000, regular planning and zoning meeting were approved with a motion by Marshall Kent seconded by Bill Coleman. Motion carried by a vote of 7 ayes and 0 nays. 2. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Tammie Green for a change in zoning from a Two - Family Dwelling District (2F), to a One - Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) With Specific Use Permit (39) Mobile Homes, Lot 34, City Block 160, being number 11173 rd SE. The public hearing was declared open. Tammie Green, representing Mr. Patterson, spoke in favor of the petition. Ms. Lester explained how manufactured homes would be installed and set up according to Texas specifications. The Lester's do all set ups for quality homes. Bill Coleman asked how close this mobile home would be to others in the area. Ms. Green stated that there were 2 mobile homes two lots away. There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. 3. Consideration of and action on the petition of Tammie Green for a change in zoning from a Two - Family Dwelling District (21), to a One - Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) With Specific Use Permit (39) Mobile Homes, Lot 34, City Block 160, being number 1117 3' SE. Motion was made to approve by Eddie Vincent and seconded by Bobby Myers. Motion carried by a vote of 6 ayes and 1 nay.
