366 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99 -004 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 14th day of <br />December, 1998, in Resolution No. 98 -179, authorize the preparation of plans and specifications <br />for a project of construction for a pro rata water main extension to serve Paradise Estates; and, <br />WHEREAS, such plans and specifications have been prepared by Earl S. Smith, City <br />Engineer, with the title being given thereto of "Paradise Estates Pro Rata. Water Main Extension <br />Project," which plans and specifications are recommended for approval by said City Engineer; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that such plans and specifications be approved and <br />that such project be authorized for advertisement for bids; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the <br />plans and specifications for the "Paradise Estates Pro Rata Water Main Extension Project" be, and <br />the same are hereby, approved; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that such construction project be advertised for bids to <br />be received after due notice at the office of the City Manager of the City of Paris, City Hall, 135 <br />1st Street S.E., Paris, Texas 75460, until 3:00 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 1999, at <br />which time said bids will be opened in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 135 1st Street S.E., <br />Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and bids will be tabulated and presented to the City Council on the <br />8th day of February, 1999, for the purpose of letting such bid. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of January, 1999. <br />elt/m-'X/ 1 <br />Charles H. A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tern Thomas for <br />approval of the resolution. The motion was seconded by Councilman Clifford, and <br />carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
