'Sd - <br />951. <br />City Attorney Haynes administered the oath of office to Kevin Gray, and <br />Councilman Gray assumed his seat at the council table. <br />Councilman Neeley requested that he be excused for the next item on the <br />agenda, due to conflict of interest, and motion was made by Councilman Boyd, <br />seconded by Councilman Thomas to excuse Councilman Neeley. The motion <br />carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 98 -027, declared that the strip of land that is approximately 100' <br />wide x 2,650' long located in the Southwest Industrial Park, east of 13' Street <br />S. W., and Loop 286 S. W. as surplus, and resolving that said property be sold <br />in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas and the Charter of the City of <br />Paris, and further resolving that the Mayor, Eric S. Clifford, is hereby authorized <br />and directed to execute the instrument of conveyance appropriate to the title <br />owned by the City of Paris to the Paris Economic Development Corporation, <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Thomas, seconded by <br />Councilman Fulbright for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br />
