849 RESOLUTION NO. 98 -005 WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council of the City of Paris that there is a 16 foot alley running north and south, and east and west, BEGINNING in the south boundary line of City Block 11 a distance of 100 feet east of the southwest corner of said City Block 11; thence north 98.5 feet; thence east 116 feet to the west boundary line of 1st Street N.E.; and, WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council that the alley is not desired by the property owners adjacent to said alley; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the Mayor, Eric S. Clifford, be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute a special warranty deed conveying to the adjacent owners on either side of said alley, in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, the City's interest in the closed alley located in City Block 11, beginning in the south boundary line of City Block 11 a distance of 100 feet east of the southwest corner of said City Block 11; thence north 98.5 feet; thence east 116 feet to the west boundary line of 1st Street N.E., it appearing that the real and true owners of the hereinafter described lots are as follows: Lots 2, 3, 4, 4A, and 5, City Block 11 100 North Main Properties PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of January, 1998. Haynes, (X Attorney Resolution No. 98 -006, resolving that TCA Cable Partners II shall henceforth be recognized as the name under which the activities authorized by franchise to Texas Community Antennas, Inc. will be operated, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Boyd, seconded by Mayor Pro Tern McDonald for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays.
