()902 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 96 -059 AND ZONING ORDINANCE NUMBER 83 -010, WHICH AMENDED ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, BY REVISING SECTION 2 OF SAID ORDINANCE, PROVIDING FOR THE APPROVAL OF A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF MAY 1, 1997 was presented. A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tern Fulbright for adoption of the ordinance. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Elder, and carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. A motion was made by Councilman Neeley, seconded by Councilwoman Elder to allow Councilman Boy to return to the council meeting. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays, and Councilman Boyd entered the council chambers and assumed his seat at the council table. Resolution No. 97 -034, resolving that the matter of appropriate zoning on Lot 9, City Block 151, and Lot 6, City Block 135, be, and the same is hereby referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris for its recommendation concerning the proper zoning of the same, and finther resolving that a public hearing be held by and before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris at 5:30 P. M., in the City Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas on the 5' day of May, 1997, and before the City Council May 8, 1997, was presented by City Attorney Haynes. A motion was made by Councilwoman McDonald, seconded by Mayor Pro Tern Fulbright for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays.
