RESOLUTION NO97 -034 WHEREAS, die City Council of the City of Paris has been made aware of the fact that Lot 9, City Block 151, and Lot 6, City Block 135, within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, have a zoning classification of Multiple - Family Dwelling District No. 1 (MF- 1); and, WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the citizens of Paris that such zoning classification be reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris and, in the event that the same should be changed to a PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTION DISTRICT (PLI) classification, that such recommendation should be made to the City Council for final action; and, WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that a public hearing be set before the Planning and Zoning Commission at 5:30 p.m., in the City Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas on the 5th day of May, 1997, and before the City Council at 6:00 p.m. on the 8th day of May, 1997; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the matter of appropriate zoning on Lot 9, City Block 151, and Lot 6, City Block 135, be, and die same is hereby referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris for its recommendation concerning the proper zoning of the same; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held by and before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris at 5:30 p.m., in the City Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas on the 5th day of May, 1997, and a public hearing be held by and before the City Council of the City of Paris at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas on dhe 8th day of May, 1997, said public hearings to be held concerning appropriate zoning on said property.
