City Attorney Haynes presented the following petitions for rezoning: Mark Cunningham, Lot 14, Block 178 from Commercial District to Light Industrial District; City of Paris, Lot 6, Block 135 and Lot 9, Block 151, from Multiple Family Dwelling District to Public Lands and Institutions District; Shabecka- Wilson, Lot 22, City Block 297, from Agricultural District to Single Family District No. Three. Mayor Clifford referred the petition to the Planning and Zoning Commission for their study and recommendation at their meeting on May 5, 1997, and before the City Council May 8, 1997. Mayor Clifford asked if there were any corrections to the minutes of previous meetings, there being none, the minutes were approved as presented. City Manager Malone announced that the next item on the agenda was receipt- of reports from Committees, Boards, and Commission, and the minutes for the Paris Public Library Advisory Board, Paris Economic Development Corporation, and the Paris -Lamar County Board of Health had been presented to the Council with no action being required. On the recommendation of the Airport Advisory Board, City Manager Malone called for consideration of and action on a resolution approving the final design of Cox Field Airport Terminal Building, TXDOT Project No. AP PARIS 4, TXDOT CSJ No. 9601PARIS. David Denney, Architect, presented the final design for the new terminal reconstruction, which he recommended for approval. Councilman Hunt entered the council chambers and assumed his seat at the council table. Resolution No. 97 -035, resolved by the City Council of the City of Paris, that the final design for the Cox Field Municipal Airport Terminal Building being a part of TXDOT Project No. AP PARIS 4, Tx DOT CSJ No. 9601 PARIS, be, and the same are hereby approved. A motion was made by Councilman Neeley, seconded by Councilwoman McDonald for approval of the resolution. The — motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
