0908 <br />Item No. 78 and 79 - 1020 28h Street, NW, Lot 2, Block 5, Cedar Hill Addition. Mr. Bobby <br />McAfee appeared before the Council stating that he wanted to remove part of the structure at 1020 <br />28' NW down, and remodel ltf Md put it back together. Mr. McAfee requested additional time to <br />do this. <br />It was the consensus of the Council to allow Mr. McAfee to have 120 days to repair or remove the <br />structure. <br />Item No. 35 - 1310 West Henderson, Lot 11, City Block 101 -C - Hubert Reaves appeared before the <br />Council speaking for himself and James and Pat Coley who lives in Houston, and further stated that <br />he was in the process of purchasing this property. Mr. Reaves said that he needed more time in order <br />to complete the transfer. <br />It was the consensus of the Council to allow 90 days for repair or removal of the structure. <br />Item No. 54 - It was recommended that this item be deleted. <br />No one else appeared before the Council, and the public hearing was declared closed. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Hunt, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Fulbright authorizing <br />preparation of an ordinance declaring that certain structures to be hazardous and the disposition of <br />the same, with the recommendations reflecting in the public hearing by the City Council be included <br />in the ordinance. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Boyd, seconded by Councilman Hunt authorizing the preparation <br />of an ordinance amending Chapter 11, Article IV, of the National Electrical Code, 1996 Edition, <br />published by the National Fire Protection Association, and the amendments. The motion carried 7 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Boyd, seconded by Councilman Hunt authorizing preparation <br />of an ordinance repealing Ordinance No. 95 -014 rescinding franchise granted to Herschel Bigelow <br />dba City Cab of Paris. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Manager Malone called for consideration of passage on first reading of an ordinance granting <br />a franchise for taxicab service to Lyndle Ray Randolph dba Checker Cab, Paris. <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE GRANTING TO LYNDLE RAY RANDOLPH, DB /A CHECKER CAB, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, A FRANCHISE TO USE THE PUBLIC STREETS, ALLEYS AND HIGHWAYS <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRANSPORTING PASSENGERS FOR HIRE <br />
