i <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97 -038 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has identified the need for additional <br />practice backstops for youth sports teams in the City of Paris; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient to authorize the City Attorney to negotiate with <br />property owners for locations for said purpose that are determined to be appropriate by the <br />Director of Parks and Recreations; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the <br />City Attorney of the City of Paris, T. K. HaynesXity Attorney <br />Resolution No. 97 -039, resolving by the City Council of the City of Paris, that the form of the <br />Assignment of Lease from Billy Winters, and wife, Donna Winters, to Russell Gifford, be approved, <br />and authorizing and directing the City Manager of the City of Paris, Michael E. Malone, to <br />acknowledge approval, on behalf of the City of Paris of the Assignment of Lease from Billy Winters <br />and wife, Donna Winters, to Russell Gifford, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman <br />Hunt, seconded by Councilman Boyd for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 <br />nays. <br />
