710 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97 -004 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did heretofore, in Resolution No. 96- <br />037, as the nominating entity for the Greater Paris Development Foundation, Inc., apply for the <br />Statewide Transportation Enhancement Program Grant for the project entitled "Paris Santa Fe <br />Frisco Railroad Deport Rehabilitation;" and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in said resolution, accept <br />the donation of the depot from Kiamichi Railroad, which depot will be placed towards the City's <br />twenty percent (20%) cash match necessary under the terms of the grant; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that the form of the agreement with the Texas <br />Department of Transportation, attached hereto as Exhibit A, be, in all things, approved, and that <br />the City Manager, Michael E. Malone, be authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the <br />form of Agreement between the City of Paris and the Texas Department of Transportation for the <br />Paris Santa Fe Frisco Railroad Depot Rehabilitation Project, CSJ #0901 -29 -012, attached hereto <br />as Exhibit A, be, and the same is hereby, approved; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager of the City of Paris, Michael E. <br />Malone, be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, <br />the agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation for the Paris Santa Fe Frisco Railroad <br />Depot Rehabilitation Project, CSJ #0901 -29 -012, under the terms and conditions and in the form <br />shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of January, 19 <br />Eric S.
