00 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96 -015 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in Resolution <br />No. 94 -110, award the contract for the Water Treatment Plant Expansion, 92WSRB03- <br />92 Project to ARCHER- WESTERN CONTRACTORS, LTD.; and, <br />WIIEREAS, the City Engineer, Earl S. Smith, acting as project engineer of said <br />project recommends the amendment of said contract by Change Order No. Two attached <br />hereto as Exhibit "A ", which provides for a net increase in contract price of $32,288.38 <br />for the purpose of making modifications to electrical ductbank at North Chemical Building; <br />the addition of exterior lighting on west side of existing Filter Building; making <br />modifications to the painting of various existing concrete structures; making modifications <br />to the painting of various new concrete structures; making modifications to the Transfer <br />Pumps Power Supply wiring; and making modifications to the transfer pumps RTD's and <br />Space Heater Wiring, for a total of $4,845,842.06, and such form should be approved, and <br />the Mayor should be authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIIE CiTY OF PARIS, that <br />the Water Treatment Plant Expansion, 92WSRB03 -92 Project, contract is hereby <br />amended by Change Order No. Two attached hereto as Exhibit "A ", providing for a net <br />increase in contract price of $32,288.38 for the purpose of making modifications to <br />electrical ductbank at North Chemical Building; the addition of exterior lighting on west <br />side of existing Filter Building; making modifications to the painting of various existing <br />concrete structures; making modifications to the painting of various new concrete <br />structures; making modifications to the Transfer Pumps Power Supply wiring; and making <br />modifications to the transfer pumps RTD's and Space Beater Wiring, for a total of <br />$4,845,842.06, which is, in all things, approved; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S. <br />Clifford, be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed, on behalf of the City of Paris, to <br />execute said Change Order No. Two. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of February, 1996. <br />Eric S.
