Resolution No. 96 -019, authorizing an application to be made to the <br />office of the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division, for a <br />Criminal Justice Planning Fund (421 Fund) grant in the approximate <br />amount of $45,000.00, for the funding period from September 1, 1996, to <br />August 31, 1997, being 80% of the estimated cost of continuing a <br />juvenile officer /juvenile gang officer along with attendant expenses, <br />requiring 20% matching funds, was presented. A motion was made by <br />Councilman Bell, seconded by Councilman Hunt for approval of the <br />resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
