Public Hearing to consider the petition of Robert Joe Johns for a change in zoning from a <br />One Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Two Family Dwelling District (217) on Lots <br />1, 2, and 3, Block A of the Ridgecrest Addition, located at 525, 535 and 545 N.E. 26th. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Robert Johns appeared before the Planning and Zoning requesting the zoning change. <br />There was no opposition and the public hearing was declared closed. <br />A motion to approve was made by Joe McCarthy and seconded by Louis Yates. The motion <br />carried by a vote of 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br />4. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Bobby Smallwood for a change in zoning from an <br />Agricultural District (A) to an Office District (0) on Lot 1 Block A, of the Townwood <br />Estates, located at 2110 Stillhouse Road. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Bobby Smallwood of 3015 Margaret, requested zoning change in order to build a retirement <br />center. <br />There was no one else to speak and the public hearing was declared closed. <br />A motion to approve was made by Joe McCarley and seconded by Marshall Kent. The motion <br />carried by a vote of 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br />5. Consider recommendation of the Final Plat for Lots 26 and 27, City Block 91. <br />A motion to excuse Louis Yates was made by Curtis Fendley and seconded by Joe McCarthy. <br />The motion carried by a vote of 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Jimmy Johnson spoke requesting a variance in lot requirements. <br />No one else spoke. <br />
