a <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94 -020 <br />WHEREAS, the Red River Valley Fair Association has requested permission <br />from the City of Paris to construct a building on the fairground property; and, <br />WHEREAS, the building would be 40 feet wide by 100 feet long in <br />accordance with floor plan attached hereto as Exhibit A, and would be located on the <br />west side of the outdoor stage area on the south side of Center Street, and would be <br />used for exhibits and Fair office during the Fair, including a board meeting room <br />which will hold all of the Fair Association records, and would be available for rental <br />the rest of the year; and <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the citizens of the City <br />of Paris to permit the construction of said building; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, that the request by the Red River Valley Fair Association to construct a <br />building on the fairgrounds as shown on the proposed floor plan attached hereto as <br />Exhibit A, be, and the same is hereby approved. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED, this 10th day of March, 1994. <br />Ge ge l`fisher, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Mattie Cunningham, City Cie k <br />APPROVED S TO FORM: <br />T. K. lAaynes, City Attorney <br />Resolution No. 94 -021, ratifying the application to the Governor's <br />Office, Criminal Justice Division, for a Crime Prevention Program <br />Grant /5, to increase the community's ability to prevent crime, to <br />protect citizens from crime, and to offer crime prevention education to <br />the public beginning October 1, 1994 and ending September 30, 1995, was <br />presented. A motion was made by Councilman Shelton, seconded by <br />Councilwoman McDonald for approval of the resolution. The motion <br />carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />812 <br />
