a RESOLUTION NO. 94 -020 WHEREAS, the Red River Valley Fair Association has requested permission from the City of Paris to construct a building on the fairground property; and, WHEREAS, the building would be 40 feet wide by 100 feet long in accordance with floor plan attached hereto as Exhibit A, and would be located on the west side of the outdoor stage area on the south side of Center Street, and would be used for exhibits and Fair office during the Fair, including a board meeting room which will hold all of the Fair Association records, and would be available for rental the rest of the year; and WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Paris to permit the construction of said building; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the request by the Red River Valley Fair Association to construct a building on the fairgrounds as shown on the proposed floor plan attached hereto as Exhibit A, be, and the same is hereby approved. K. lAaynes, City Attorney Resolution No. 94 -021, ratifying the application to the Governor's Office, Criminal Justice Division, for a Crime Prevention Program Grant /5, to increase the community's ability to prevent crime, to protect citizens from crime, and to offer crime prevention education to the public beginning October 1, 1994 and ending September 30, 1995, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Shelton, seconded by Councilwoman McDonald for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. 812
