728 <br />A motion was made by Councilman Brown, seconded by Councilman Shelton <br />to receive a petition requesting closing Craigo Alley by Verginia <br />McFadden. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />W. E. Anderson, Director of Finance, and Bill Gibson, Auditor, present <br />the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the City of Paris for the <br />fiscal year ending September 30, 1993. <br />Mr. Gibson said the report was a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report <br />and when you look at this as compared to some of the other financial <br />reports you have seen on the City's financial statement, you will <br />realize that there is a lot more data included in this report. Mr. <br />Gibson said they were complying with the requirement to present a <br />comprehensive annual report, so there is additional data about the City <br />financial condition as well as otherwise. Mr. Gibson briefly discussed <br />the content of the report with the Council. <br />After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Shelton, seconded by <br />Councilman John Bell to accept the Comprehensive Annual Financial <br />Report as presented. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Manager Malone presented a petition for rezoning as follows: Jim <br />Bell, Lots 8C and 8B, City Block 257 -A, 2464 E. Cherry Street, from One <br />Family Dwelling No 2 District to Multi- Family Dwelling No. 1 District. <br />Mayor Fisher referred the petition to the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission for their study and recommendation at their meeting on <br />February 7, 1994, and before the City Council February 10, 1994. <br />Roy Spark of Lone Star Gas Company appeared before the Council <br />introducing Bob Erskine, Area Manager for Lone Star Gas Company, who <br />will be working with him in this area. <br />Mr. Erskine told the Council that Lone Star Gas Company is rapidly <br />j changing as all middle management positions in the company. Mr. <br />Erskine said he would keep the Council posted on future changes in Lone <br />Star Gas Company, and looked forwarding to working with them. <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. <br />GEORGE MAYOR <br />ATTEST: <br />
