729 <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />February 3, 1994 <br />The City Council of the City of Paris met in special session, Thursday, <br />February 3, 1994, 6:00 P. M., City Hall, City Council Chambers, Paris <br />Texas. Mayor George Fisher called the meeting to order with the <br />following Councilmembers present: Don Shelton, Jim Bell, Wayne Brown, <br />and John F. Bell. Also present was City Manager, Michael E. Malone, <br />City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, and City Clerk, Mattie Cunningham. <br />Mayor Fisher announced that the special meeting was called for the <br />purpose of considering a resolution concerning the proposal of the <br />United States Postal Service to located an additional facility to meet <br />the community's needs. <br />Resolution No. 94 -006, resolving that the City of Paris hereby goes on <br />record as supporting the United States Postal Service's selection of <br />area in which to located an additional postal facility to provide <br />service to persons desiring or needing handicapped accessible <br />facilities and other postal patrons, was presented. A motion was made <br />by Councilman John Bell, seconded by Councilman Shelton for approval <br />of the resolution. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
