<br />RESOLUTION NO. 94 -009
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did heretofore authorize
<br />the preparation of plans and specifications for a project of construction for the Water
<br />Treatment Plant Expansion; and,
<br />WHEREAS, such plans and specifications have been prepared by Burcher,
<br />Willis & Ratliff, with the title being given thereto of "Water Treatment Plant
<br />Expansion Vol. II - Controls & Instrumentation" Project, which plans and
<br />specifications are recommended for approval by the City Engineer of the City of
<br />Paris; and,
<br />WHEREAS, such plans and specifications should be approved and such
<br />project should be advertised for bids; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
<br />that the plans and specifications for the Water Treatment Plant Expansion Vol. II -
<br />Controls & Instrumentation Project be, and are hereby approved; and,
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that such Water Treatment Plant Expansion
<br />Vol. II - Controls & Instrumentation Project should be advertised for bids to be
<br />received after due notice at the office of the City Manager of the City of Paris, City
<br />Hall, 135 Ist Street S.E., Paris, Texas 75460, until 3:00 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday,
<br />March 1, 1994, at which time said bids will be opened in the City Council Chamber,
<br />City Hall, 135 lst Street S.E., Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and bids will be
<br />tabulated and presented to the City Council on the 10th day of March, 1994, for the
<br />purpose of letting such bid.

<br />Resolution No. 94 -010, ordering the regular Municipal Election for the
<br />City of Paris, Paris, Texas to be held on the first Saturday in May,
<br />1994, same being the 7th day of May, 1994 between the hours of 7:00 A.
<br />M. and 7:00 P. M. by the qualified voters of Districts 1, 2, 3, and 6,
<br />of the City of Paris, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman
<br />Jim Bell, seconded by Councilman Shelton for adoption of the
<br />resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
