796 <br />District No. 2 (SF -2) and Specific Use Permit - Plant Nursery to a <br />Combination Planned Development - Commercial District (PD-a.1) and <br />Planned Development Housing District (PD -b) on Lots 9, 9A, 10, 11, <br />12, and 13, City Block. 259 located on the north side of E. Cherry <br />Street at the intersection of Collegiate Drive. <br />Joe McCollum, Director of Community, Development, was present advising <br />the Council that the Planning and Zoning Commission had tabled action <br />on Mr. Powell's petition due to the fact that he was unable to attend <br />the meeting. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Jim Bell, seconded by Councilman <br />Shelton to continue the public hearing, along with authorization for <br />preparation of an ordinance on the petition of Richard Powell. The <br />motion carried 4 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Fisher declared the public hearing open on the petition of St. <br />Joseph's Hospital for a change in zoning from a Two Family Dwelling <br />District (2F) to an Office District (0) on Lot 11, Block 1, Central <br />Park Addition located at 860 E. Austin, Street. <br />Mayor Fisher called for proponents to appear, and Lonnie Dear <br />representing St. Joseph's Hospital, appeared saying the Hospital had <br />purchased the house and planned to use it as is for offices for two <br />departments of the hospital. <br />Mayor Fisher called for opponents to appear, none appeared, and the <br />public hearing was declared closed. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Jim Bell, seconded by Councilwoman. <br />McDonald for preparation of an ordinance changing the zoning on Lot 11,. <br />`-- Block 1, Central Park Addition to an Office District. The motion <br />carried 4 ayes, 0 nays. _ <br />Councilman John Bell entered the Council Chambers and assumed his seat <br />at the council table. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Jim Bell, seconded by Councilman <br />Shelton approving the Final Plat of Oak Creek Phase IV, subject to the <br />requirements of the City Engineer. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Shelton, seconded by Councilwoman <br />McDonald for approval of the Final Plat of the Jackson Court Site for <br />the Paris Housing Authority subject to the requirements of the City <br />Engineer. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Shelton, seconded by Councilman Jim <br />Bell approving the Revised Master Plat for the Oak Creek Development, <br />subject to the requirements of the City Engineer.
