Soo <br />r <br />checks because they were able to find a way to use already existing <br />equipment to do the job. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Shelton, seconded by Councilwoman <br />McDonald accept the recommendation of Police Chief Louis. The motion <br />carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Manager Malone advised that only one bid was received for <br />furnishing and delivery of one drums /disc brake lathe for use in the <br />Fleet Maintenance Division of the Public Works Department, that being <br />from Ammco Model 4100, in the amount of $ 8,549.10, which meets all <br />specifications and is with in the budgeted amount. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Jim Bell, seconded by Councilman John <br />Bell to award the bid to Ammco Model 4100 in the amount of $8,549.10. <br />The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Manager Malone called for the tabulations of bids for furnishing <br />and delivery of two radar units for the Police Department, and the <br />following bids were presented: <br />Midwest Radar <br />Justom Signals, Inc. <br />$2,790.00 <br />$2,390.00 <br />A motion was made by Councilman Shelton, seconded by Councilwoman <br />McDonald to award the bids to Midwest Radar in the amount of <br />$2,790.00. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 94 -017, authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City <br />of Paris, George Fisher to execute a special warranty deed for a <br />portion of the abandoned street closed to the adjacent owner on either <br />side of said abandoned street right of way which lies adjacent to Lots <br />13, 14, and 14A, City Block 311 to Larry Greb, was presented. A motion <br />was made by Councilman Jim Bell, seconded by Councilman John Bell for <br />approval of the resolution. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
