RESOLUTION NO. 93 -004
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been
<br />made aware of the fact that Lot 1, City Block 15, Lot 9, City
<br />Block 6, Lot 12, City Block 180, Lot 5 -A, City Block 179A,
<br />within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, have a
<br />zoning classification of CENTRAL AREA (CA),; and,
<br />i
<br />WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the -,best interest of the
<br />citizens of Paris that such zoning classification be reviewed
<br />by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris
<br />and in the event that the same should be changed to a
<br />PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS (PLI) classification that such
<br />recommendation should be made to the City Council for final
<br />action; and
<br />WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that a public hearing
<br />be set before the Planning and Zoning Commission at 5:30
<br />o'clock P.M., in the City Council Room, City Hall, Paris,
<br />Texas, on the 1st day of February, 1993 and before the City
<br />Council at 6:00 o'clock P.M. on the 4th day of February,
<br />1993; NOW THEREFORE,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
<br />that the matter of appropriate zoning on Lot 1, City Block
<br />15; Lot 9, City Block 6; Lot 12, City Block 180; and Lot 5 -A,
<br />City Block 179 -A, be, and the same is hereby referred to the
<br />Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris for its
<br />recommendation concerning the proper zoning of the same; and,
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held by
<br />and before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
<br />Paris at 5:30 o'clock P.M., in the City Council Room, City
<br />Hall, Paris, Texas, on the 1st day of February, 1993, and a
<br />public hearing be held by and before the City Council of the
<br />City of Paris at 6 :00 o'clock P.M. in the Council Room, City
<br />Hall, Paris, Texas on the 4th day of February, 1993, said
<br />public hearings to be held, concerning appropriate zoning on
<br />said property.
