9c !{ <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90 -023 <br />WHEREAS, the several departments of the City of Paris <br />have furnished the list of personal property on Exhibit A <br />attached hereto which no longer serves a useful purpose for <br />the City of Paris and it's operation; and, <br />WHEREAS, it would be right and proper to declare the <br />_ personal property on Exhibit A attached hereto to be surplus <br />property, .since there is no known municipal use of the same; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, it would be appropriate to dispose of said <br />surplus property by auction duly advertised and conducted by <br />Blake Moore Associates, Auctioneers, Texas Auctioneer License—, <br />TXS -019- 006710, which firm has heretofore been approved for <br />use by State of Texas agencies, upon the terms and conditions <br />of the contract attached hereto as Exhibit B; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />that the personal prperty described on Exhibit A attached <br />hereto, b,e, and the same is hereby declared to be surplus <br />property of the City of Paris and the same may be disposed of <br />in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas and the <br />Charter of the City of Paris. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of <br />Paris, Eric S. Clifford, be, and he is hereby authorized and <br />directed on behalf of the City of Paris to execute the <br />professional service contract providing for auctioneering <br />services, with Blake Moore Associates, attached hereto as <br />Exhibit B. <br />Passed and adopted this 8th day of March, 1990. <br />l <br />Eric S.
