Block 156 -A, located between 1st S. W. and 3rd S. W. on both sides of <br />Brown Avenue. <br />Mayor Clifford called for proponents to appear and Donald G. Wilson, <br />3110 Stacy Lane, appeared before the Council stating he was in favor of <br />— this change, but his concern was with the traffic flow to and from his <br />facility. Mr. Wilson said they have up to three trailer trucks a day <br />getting in and out of his property coming up Brown and back down <br />because they are fifty foot trailers. Mr. Wilson suggest the City <br />extend the street that runs beside the railroad track on to 3rd S. W., <br />making it a through street where there will be access completely around <br />the jail, and asked that the Council take a look at it before issuing a <br />building permit and see if it is economically feasible. Mr. Wilson <br />further stated if the city needs help with the street from them in <br />participations in some way, they would be happy to look at it. <br />City Attorney Haynes advised that there were other industrial property <br />in the area that would also be served by this, and the city should look <br />at the traffic flow. <br />After further discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Booth, <br />seconded by Fendley approving the zoning Change, calling for the <br />preparation of an Ordinance to be presented at the next council <br />meeting. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Joe McCollum, Director of Community Development presented the Final <br />Plat of Oak Creek Phase III. <br />Mayor Clifford asked to be excused from the council meeting due to <br />conflict of interest. A motion was made by Councilman Booth, seconded <br />by Councilman Fendley to excuse Mayor Clifford. The motion carried 5 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Booth, seconded by Councilman Kent <br />approving the Final Plat of Oak Creek Phase III subject to the <br />requirements of the City Engineer. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Fendley called for a motion to allow Mayor Clifford to <br />return to the council meeting. A motion was made by Councilman Booth, <br />seconded by Councilman Kent to allow Mayor Clifford to return to the <br />Council meeting. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays, and Mayor Clifford <br />entered the council chambers and assumed his seat at the council table. <br />Joe McCollum presented the Replat of Lot 5, Block 10, Town North <br />Estates and Lot 32, City Block 259. A motion was made by Councilman <br />Kent, seconded by Councilman Fendley approving the Replat subject to <br />the requirements of the City Engineer. The motion carried 6 ayes,0 <br />nays. <br />Joe McCollum presented the Preliminary Plat of Lots 1 and 2, City Block <br />183. A motion was made by Councilman Kent, seconded by Councilman <br />Fendley approving the Preliminary Plat subject to the requirements of <br />the City Engineer. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
