/,5q <br />Mr. Jim Coplin appeared before the Council requested approval of <br />assignment of pasture lease from Kyle Clement to himself and Kelly <br />Coplin. Mr. Coplin told the Council they were in a position to replace <br />fences in lieu of lease payments. Mr. Coplin said the fence would have <br />five strains of wire using metal post 12 feet apart with welded corners. <br />Mr. Keith Bollman, 1130 North Collegiate Drive appeared before the <br />Council requesting modification of the No Parking Zone on Collegiate <br />Drive in the 1100 block. Mr. Bollman showed a sketch of the area in <br />question telling the Council there was no place for visitors to park on <br />the east side of Collegiate Drive. Mr. Bollman presented a petition <br />from the property owners requesting the no parking signs be removed. <br />Mayor Clifford referred this matter to the Traffic Commission for their <br />study and recommendation. <br />City Manager Malone called for consideration of and action on <br />authorizing the preparation of an ordinance amending Section 6 -22 (e) <br />of the code of ordinances providing for minimum limits of insurance for <br />aeronautical permittees. A motion was made by Councilman Booth <br />seconded by Councilman Wortham authorizing preparation of an ordinance <br />providing for minimum limits of insurance for aeronautical permittees. <br />The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 90 -005 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP <br />OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE <br />PERMIT -AUTO FUEL SALES (49) ON PART OF LOT 1, CITY BLOCK 341, ON <br />PROPERTY BELONGING TO SAM BOLTON, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY <br />FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING <br />THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE <br />PERMIT -AUTO FUEL SALES (49) SO ESTABLISHED <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Booth, seconded by <br />Councilman Davidson for adoption of the ordinance. The motion carried <br />5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Attorney Haynes presented an ordinance amending by revising <br />section 6 -22 (e) of code of ordinances providing for minimum limits of <br />insurance for Aeronautical Permittees. <br />City Attorney advised this section was being amended to comply with <br />State, FAA Rules and Regulations along with Federal Laws, if any, for <br />this activity. <br />Mayor Clifford told the Council he would like to take a look at this, <br />and called for the ordinance to be tabled. A motion was made by <br />Councilman Booth, seconded by Councilman Wortham to table action on <br />adopting the ordinance revising Section 6 -22 (e). The motion carried 5 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br />
