'r' 4 �e'�4 ORDINANCE NO. 89 -012 AN ORDINANCE CONTAINING ',A HEARING ON PROPERTIES LOCATED IN THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, BELONGING TO VARIOUS OWNERS, AND AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL FINDING THE MATERIALS REMAINING ON THE PREMISES TO CONSTITUTE A NUISANCE AND TO BE A FIRE HAZARD TO LIFE AND PROPERTY AND A HAZARD TO THE LIFE AND WELFARE OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA, AND ORDERING SAID RUBBISH, LUMBER AND REFUSE FROM THE STRUCTURES TO BE TORN DOWN AND REMOVED FROM THE PREMISES IN ORDER TO ABATE SUCH NUISANCE. was presented by City Attorney Haynes. The preparation of an ordinance revising Section 20 -2 of the Code of Ordinances, to reflect the increase in property occupied by the Paris Public Library was authorized by a motion by Councilman Kent, seconded by Councilman Wortham. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. An ordinance revising Section 21 -11 of the Code of Ordinances, prohibiting entry into the Old Cemetery of Paris during certain hours was authorized for preparation on a motion by Councilman Wortham, seconded by Councilman Kent. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. City Manager.Malone presented bids that had been received at public bid openings. He advised the Council that after review by the Fire Chief of bids to furnish and deliver one self- contained breathing apparatus fill system station, it was recommended that all bids be rejected and the item be re- advertised. A motion was made by Councilman Fendley, seconded by Councilman Kent to reject the bids and re- advertise. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. The bid for the furnishing and delivery of a vertical hydraulic shore system was awarded to The Plank Company in the amount of $3,787.60 on a motion by Councilman Booth, seconded by Councilman Wortham. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. The bid for the furnishing of one 1989, Type III, Class I, Ambulance was awarded to Bridgers Coach in the amount of $46,410.00 on a motion by Councilman Booth, seconded by Councilman Fendley. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. Resolution No. 89 -020 authorizing transfer of franchise from Cooke Cablevision, Inc., to Texas Community Antennas, Inc., was presented by City Attorney Haynes. A motion was made by Councilman Wortham, seconded by Councilman Booth for approval of the resolution. Motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays.
