9i1 <br />RESOLUTION 89 -021 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did <br />on February 2, 1989, authorize the preparation of plans and <br />specifications for a project of construction for replacement <br />force main for Campbell's Sewage Lift Station; and, <br />WHEREAS, such plans and specifications have been prepared by <br />Earl Smith, City Engineer, with-the title being given thereto of <br />Replacement Force Main for Campbell's Sewage Lift Station <br />88WSRB -06 -89 Project, which plans and specifications are <br />recommended for approval by the City Engineer of the City of <br />Paris; and <br />WHEREAS, such plans and specifications should be approved <br />and such project should be advertised for bids; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />That the plans and specifications for the Replacement Force Main <br />for Campbell's Sewage Lift Station 88WSRB -06 -89 Project are <br />hereby approved. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That such Replacement Force Main <br />for Campbell's Sewage Lift Station 88WSRB -06 -89 Project should be-- <br />advertised for bids to be received after due notice and <br />thereafter returned to City Council for letting, at 10:00 o'clock <br />A.M. on Tuesday, April 4, 1989, and should be presented to the <br />City Council on the 10th day of April, 1989, for the purpose of <br />letting such bid. <br />Passed and adopted this 13th day of March, 1989. <br />J <br />Eric S.- C l _ or -Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Joe UcCollum, Assistant City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />T. Haynes City Attorney <br />Resolution No. 89 -022 authorizing City to establish bank accounts with <br />Connecticut National Bank of Hartford, Connecticut and NCNB Texas <br />National Bank, Paris, Texas, for the purpose of providing a source of <br />payment of group insurance claims as required by the Blue Cross /Blue <br />Shield Flex Pay Arrangement was presented by City Attorney Haynes. A <br />motion was made by Councilman Kent, seconded by Councilman Fendley for <br />approval of the resolution. Motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
