9i1 RESOLUTION 89 -021 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did on February 2, 1989, authorize the preparation of plans and specifications for a project of construction for replacement force main for Campbell's Sewage Lift Station; and, WHEREAS, such plans and specifications have been prepared by Earl Smith, City Engineer, with-the title being given thereto of Replacement Force Main for Campbell's Sewage Lift Station 88WSRB -06 -89 Project, which plans and specifications are recommended for approval by the City Engineer of the City of Paris; and WHEREAS, such plans and specifications should be approved and such project should be advertised for bids; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the plans and specifications for the Replacement Force Main for Campbell's Sewage Lift Station 88WSRB -06 -89 Project are hereby approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That such Replacement Force Main for Campbell's Sewage Lift Station 88WSRB -06 -89 Project should be-- advertised for bids to be received after due notice and thereafter returned to City Council for letting, at 10:00 o'clock A.M. on Tuesday, April 4, 1989, and should be presented to the City Council on the 10th day of April, 1989, for the purpose of letting such bid. Haynes City Attorney Resolution No. 89 -022 authorizing City to establish bank accounts with Connecticut National Bank of Hartford, Connecticut and NCNB Texas National Bank, Paris, Texas, for the purpose of providing a source of payment of group insurance claims as required by the Blue Cross /Blue Shield Flex Pay Arrangement was presented by City Attorney Haynes. A motion was made by Councilman Kent, seconded by Councilman Fendley for approval of the resolution. Motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays.
