RESOLUTION NO. 89 -022 <br />912 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris contracts with Blue Cross /= <br />Blue Shield for city employee's group insurance which <br />provides for funding through a flexible payment arrangement; <br />'^ and, <br />WHEREAS, specific banking arrangements are required to <br />facilitate flexible payment processing of group insurance <br />claims; NOW THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the City of Paris is hereby authorized to <br />establish bank accounts with Connecticut National Bank of <br />Hartford, Connecticut, and NCNB Texas National Bank, Paris, <br />Texas, for purposes of providing a source of payment of <br />group insurance claims as required by the Blue Cross /Blue <br />Shield Flex Pay Arrangement; and is further authorized to <br />advise NCNB.Texas National-Bank, Paris,'Texas, that it is to <br />honor, execute and charge to our designated account any and <br />all telegraphic, telephonic, oral, or written requests or <br />orders. for the transfer of funds received from Connecticut <br />National Bank as reimbursement for group insurance claim <br />drafts` issued; and further designates that the authorized <br />signatures on such accounts are those of the City Manager, <br />Director of Finance, Director of Community Development and <br />City Attorney in any combination of two signatures. <br />Passed and adopted this 13th day of March, 1989. <br />Eric S.
