M., Council Chambers, City Hall, Paris, Texas. Mayor <br />Eric S. Clifford called the meeting to order with the following <br />Councilmen present: Travis Wortham, Marshall H. Kent, Jr., E. W. <br />(Bill) Booth, and William E. (Bill) Davidson. Also present was City <br />Manager, Michael E. Malone, City Atto mey, T. K. Haynes, and City <br />Clerk, Mattie Cunningham. <br />Joe McCollum, Director of Community Development, appeared before the <br />Council and presented the minutes of the Planning .,and Zoning <br />Commission's meeting held on February 6, 1989, and attached hereto as <br />part of these minutes as Exhibit A. <br />Mayor Clifford declared the public hearing open on the petition of <br />Travis Grayson for a change in zoning from a One Family Dwellin <br />District No. 2 (SF -2) to a One Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3� <br />and Specific Use Permit, - Mobile Home (39) on Lot 4, City Block 175 -A <br />located at 1195 E. Grove Street. <br />Mayor Clifford called for proponents to appear, and Mr. Travis Grayson <br />appeared before the Council stating his wish was to place a late model <br />mobile home on the lot. <br />Councilman Fendley entered the Council chamber' and assumed his seat at <br />the council table. <br />Mayor Clifford called for opponents to appear, none appear, and the <br />public hearing was declared closed. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Kent, seconded by Councilman Wortham <br />approving the zoning change, and called for the preparation of an <br />Ordinance to be presented at the next council meeting. The motion <br />carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Clifford declared the public hearing open on closing the alleys <br />in Block 2 of Anita Park Addition. <br />Mayor Clifford called for proponents to appear, none appeared. <br />Mayor Clifford called for opponents to appear, none appeared and the <br />public hearing was declared closed. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Fendley, seconded by Councilman Kent <br />approving the closing of the alleys in Block 2 of Anita Park Addition, <br />and authorizing the preparation of an Ordinance to be presented at the <br />next regular council meeting. The motion carried 5-ayes, 0 nays. <br />Joe McCollum, Director of Community Development, presented the <br />Preliminary Plat of Shadycrest Estate.
