Plat of Shadycrest pending the resolution of items in City Engineer's <br />memorandum dated February 6, 1989. <br />847 After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Fendley, seconded by <br />Councilman Wortham to table this item. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 <br />nays. <br />Mr. McCollum also advised the Planning and Zoning Commission had <br />tabled action on the Preliminary Plat of Oak Creek Phase III due to not <br />having a quorum after three members asked to be excused because of <br />their connection with the development.. <br />No action was taken by the Council on the Preliminary Plat of Oak Creek <br />Phase III. <br />City Attorney Haynes presented the following petition for rezoning: <br />Carles Sterling, Lot 2A, City Block'.315 from GR District to GR and <br />Specific Use Permit Billboard (52).District; Nathan J. Bell agent for <br />H. G. Ellis, Lot 6, City Block 113 -A from 2F District to Office <br />District; Ronnie Thrasher, Lot 5, CityBlock 213 from SF -2 District to <br />MF -1 District; Melvin D. Abbott, Part.-of Lot 12, City Block 309 from <br />SF -2 District to SF -3 and Specific Use Permit - Mobile Home (39) <br />District; Jesse L. Mathis, E 1/2* Lots 2 and 4, Block 0, East Park <br />Addition from SF -3 District to SF -3 and Specific Use Permit - Lodge <br />(17) District. <br />Mayor Clifford referred the petitions to the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission for their study and recommendation and called for a public <br />hearing for March 9, 1989. <br />City Attorney Haynes also presented a petition for rezoning for Becky <br />McDowell, Executive Director - Paris Housing Authority, part of Lot 2, <br />City Block 339. City Attorney Haynes advised that the four question on <br />the Affidavit Request for Amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 1710 had <br />not been answered, and advised these should be answered by Ms. McDowell. <br />Mayor Clifford instructed City Attorney Haynes to contact Ms. McDowell <br />to come by and answer the four questions on'the Affidavit Request for <br />Amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 1710, and place this petition on <br />Monday night's agenda for referral. <br />City Manager Malone announced the next item on the agenda was <br />consideration of and action on bids received at a public bid opening <br />for the sale of Lots 20, 21, and 22, of Block 6 located at 2774 Graham <br />and authorizing the preparation of a resolution letting and authorizing <br />execution of deed to successful bidder. City Manager Malone told the <br />Council only one bid had been received that being from Fred'Cole in the <br />amount of $4,600. which meets all bid specifications. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Kent awarding the bid to Fred Cole in <br />the amount of $4,600.00 and authorizing preparation of a Resolution <br />letting bid and authorizing execution of deed to the successful <br />bidder. The motion was seconded by Councilman Davidson and carried 5 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br />There being no further business, the meetin journed. <br />ERIC S.
