010- <br />RESOLUTION NO. 86 -030 <br />WHEREAS, an election was held by the qualified voters <br />of Wards 1, 2, 3 and 6 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, <br />on the 5th day of April, 1986, for the purpose of voting for <br />and electing the Councilmen from each of said Wards to serve <br />as members of the City Council for the ensuing two (2) <br />years, to -wit: <br />1. <br />Councilman <br />From <br />Ward <br />One (1) <br />2. <br />Councilman <br />From <br />Ward <br />Two (2) <br />3. <br />Councilman <br />From <br />Ward <br />Three (3) <br />4. <br />Councilman <br />From <br />Ward <br />Six (6) <br />WHEREAS, as required by Order of the District Court of <br />the United States for the Eastern District of Texas, Paris <br />Division, in Civil Action No. P- 75 -3 -CA, and as provided in <br />the Charter of the City of Paris and the laws of the State <br />of Texas wherein they do not-conflict with said Order, such <br />election was conducted and held at four (4) specified and <br />designated polling places, that is one polling place in Ward <br />it 2, 3, and 6 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas; and, <br />WHEREAS, sealed returns of said election, made by the <br />duly appointed and designated election officials of and for <br />the four (4) respective voting boxes, have been made to the <br />Mayor and City Council. of the City of Paris, as required by <br />law, _which returns after. due and deliberate review and <br />canvass thereof, show the following results of said <br />election, to -wit: <br />(1) <br />(2) <br />(3) <br />(4) <br />IN WARD ONE (1) A TOTAL OF 153 VOTES WERE CAST FOR <br />COUNCILMAN FROM WARD ONE (1) AS FOLLOWS: <br />District Absentee Total <br />Charley V.
