01-014 <br />There was no one present in opposition to the petition and the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />The Commission discussed the existing zoning and land use in the area and <br />Mr. McMonigle made a motion to recommend approval of the petition due to existing <br />mobile home adjacent to the lot. Mr. Hildreth seconded the motion which carried <br />5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />The Final Plat of Meadow Park, Phase III was recommended for approval on a motion <br />by Mrs. Smith, seconded by Mr. Perry, subject to the exceptions listed in City <br />Engineer's Memorandum dated April. 4, 1986, marked Exhibit A and attached hereto. <br />The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays: <br />The Final Plat of Lot 2 -C and part of Lot 3, City Block 313 was recommended for <br />approval on a motion by Mrs. Smith, seconded by Mr. Hildreth, subject to the <br />exceptions listed in City Engineer's Memorandum dated April 4, 1986, marked Exhibit <br />B and attached hereto. McCollum <br />Secretary - ex- officio <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING OF THE CITY OF PARIS <br />April 14, 1986 <br />The City Council of the City of Paris met in regular session, Monday <br />April 14, 1986, 7:00 P. M., City Hall, Council Chambers. Mayor Fisher <br />called the meeting to order with the following Councilmen present: <br />Walter F. Williams, Donald G. Wilson, W. C. Francis, Mike Folmar, Jeff <br />Hoog, and Billy J. Burnett. Also present was City Manager David H. <br />Doty, City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, and City Clerk, Mattie Cunningham. <br />Prayer was offered by Reverend John Peel of the First United Methodist <br />Church. <br />Mayor Fisher asked if there were any corrections to the minutes of <br />previous meetings, there being none, the minutes were approved as <br />presented. <br />Barbara Cole, President of the King's Daughters appeared before the <br />Council and gave a brief resume of the King's Daughters, and discussed <br />their plans to close the King's Daughters Day Care Center June 15, <br />1986. Ms. Cole said that the King's Daughters would still need office <br />space in order to continue their operations and requested office space <br />at City Hall. <br />Mayor Fisher called for action on the request of the King's Daughters, <br />and a motion was made by Councilman Hoog, seconded by Councilman <br />Burnett to furnish office space to the King's Daughters at City Hall. <br />The Motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Fisher announced that the next item on the agenda was <br />consideration and action on previously authorized Ordinances. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 86 -006 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP <br />OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO 3 (SF -3) <br />AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - MOBILE HOME(39) ON LOT 30, CITY BLOCK 83, ON <br />PROPERTY BELONGING TO FRED GIBSON, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY <br />FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C); AND DESIGNATING THE <br />BOUNDARIES OF THE ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 3 (SF -3) AND <br />SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - MOBILE HOME (39) SO ESTABLISHED. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by <br />Councilman Williams for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried <br />7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
