RESOLUTION NO. 86-004 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did at <br />its special meeting on November 18, 1985 approve the adver- <br />tisement for bids for furnishing plant, labor, materials and <br />equipment and performing all work required for the Reno- <br />vation of the Water Business Office of the City of Paris, <br />which bids were received until 10:00 o'clock A.M., <br />Wednesday, January 8, 1986; and, <br />WHEREAS, the best bid for such construction was made by <br />Hilliard & Sons Contractors, Inc., 4735 Lamar Ave., Paris, <br />Texas 75460 and it should be awarded the bid for such <br />construction; and, <br />WHEREAS, the form of contract for such construction <br />project is attached hereto as Exhibit A, and such form <br />should be approved; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, that the Bid of Hilliard & Sons Contractors, Inc. in <br />the amount of $25,994.00, is hereby accepted and let condi- <br />tioned upon said contractor meeting all of the terms and <br />specifications included in the bid documents; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of <br />Paris, George Fisher, Jr., be, and he is hereby authorized <br />and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris the <br />contract for Renovation of the Water Business Office, upon <br />the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A <br />attached hereto, with Hilliard & Sons Contractors, Inc. <br />Passed and adopted this 13th day of January, 1986. <br />e rge is er, r., ayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Mattie Cunningham, Cit erk <br />APPROVED A T FORM: <br />.
