0131 <br />A motion was made by Councilman Burnett to accept the Finding of Fact <br />subject to the modifications of Item No. 5 by eliminating ample, and <br />Item No. 9 by eliminating and /or unwilling. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Wilson. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Francis, seconded by Councilman Folmar <br />to accept the Proposed Order subject to correcting Item No. 3 by <br />changing the Channels to 4, 5, 8 and 11. The motion carried 5 ayes, 2 <br />nays, Councilman Burnett and Councilman Wilson voting nay. <br />Mayor Fisher called for consideration of and action on a hearing before <br />the Council appealing a decision made by the Building Official <br />concerning a requirement for additional exit requirements for the Old <br />Liberty National Bank Building. <br />Joe McCollum, Director of Community Development appeared before the <br />Council and presented information from the Code of Ordinance regarding <br />exit requirements, and stated that based on these requirements for <br />exits, was unable to make a judgement that the building would be safe. <br />Ronnie Abbott appeared before the Council objecting to the Code <br />requirements of a second enclosed stairway at the Old Liberty National <br />Bank Building, and stated there was no place in the building to place <br />another enclosed stairway. Mr. Abbott discussed the construction of <br />the building, and stated the building would be used for office, <br />residential and business use. <br />Steven Burgin, Fire Chief appeared before the Council and discussed <br />alternates to the situation. <br />After discussion, the Council referred this matter back to the Staff <br />and City Attorney in order to find a solution to the problem, and <br />advised if a decision could not be made by the Staff, the Council would <br />have a special meeting in order to resolve the matter. <br />Mayor Fisher called for the tabulations of bids for a Cardiopulmonary <br />Resuscitator for the Emergency Medical Service, and the following bids <br />were presented: <br />Michigan Instruments $5,411.50 <br />Dixie U. S. A. $5,167.00 <br />Associated Medical Corporation $4,180.00 <br />A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman <br />Williams to accept the bid of Dixie U. S. A. in the amount of <br />$5,167.00 for furnishing a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitator. The motion <br />carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />I <br />Mayor Fisher called for the tabulations of bids for a Cardio- <br />Defibrilator Monitor for the Emergency Medical Service, and the <br />following bids were presented. <br />Physico Control, Inc.
